Our 2023 Grenache is bright and expressive, grown in Oregon and made with as little intervention as possible. It is pale garnet in the glass and opens with hibiscus, violets and fresh strawberry. Red liquorice, cherry pie, pink peppercorn and a thread of fennel come next. On the palate it is full-bodied, with lively acidity and medium tannins. Red liquorice, strawberry and rhubarb lead, followed by a touch of toffee and a savory edge of tomato and green chili.
This Oregon Grenache is part of Good Measure’s first release. A small selection of wines, bottled to be enjoyed with friends. Available in 750mL format. The ABV for this release is 15.5%.

The 2023 Grenache's fresh acidity and red-fruit energy make it an easy partner for food with spice and char. Try it with herb-grilled lamb, spiced sausages, roasted tomatoes and peppers, or wood-fired pizza. It also suits a simple spread of cured meats and good bread finished with extra-virgin olive oil.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve just below room temperature, around 60°F, in a wide-bowled glass. To explore the rich flavor palette of this wine, try it slightly chilled (55°F): the cooler temperature brings its floral notes and fresh acidity forward.

OUR STORY
FOUNDERS AND BACKGROUND
Founders Marco Prete and Cristina Fragni have spent a lifetime in close contact with the top European winemakers and cellar masters, and have spent decades on their shared passion for learning, tasting, and even assisting in the production of fine wines.
After relocating to NYC in 2013, they found that many of their favorite vintages were not available in the US. Inspired by a lack of available inventory on the usual channels, they decided that it was essential to them personally and professionally to create a bespoke, world-class collection of fine wines available for US import.
The Wines of Kings collection of exquisite wines reflects the founders’ obsession with premium wines that are made authentically.
