A blend Maresh planted in 1970 and Weber planted in 1983. More floral, and a bit darker than the Dundee Hills with vibrant long fruit. Pomegranate molasses, cherry and citrus rind.

“The 2022 Pinot Noir Dundee Hills Old Vines is remarkably pretty, cascading up form the glass with a vibrant blend of minty herbs and crushed cherries complemented by hints of cola and spice. This has the energy to spare, silken in feel with rope red berry fruits that envelop the senses. It takes on a darker shade toward the close as tactile minerals saturate. A bump of juicy acidity enlivens the finish as sweet tannings tug at the sense and notes of blood orange slowly fade. The 2022 is like a well-muscled dancer. It’s already so likable that many collectors may not have the patience to watch it fully mature. OUR STORY
FOUNDERS AND BACKGROUND
Founders Marco Prete and Cristina Fragni have spent a lifetime in close contact with the top European winemakers and cellar masters, and have spent decades on their shared passion for learning, tasting, and even assisting in the production of fine wines.
After relocating to NYC in 2013, they found that many of their favorite vintages were not available in the US. Inspired by a lack of available inventory on the usual channels, they decided that it was essential to them personally and professionally to create a bespoke, world-class collection of fine wines available for US import.
The Wines of Kings collection of exquisite wines reflects the founders’ obsession with premium wines that are made authentically.
